The Busted Pipe Chronicles Day 9: Channel Surfing

I, like many Texans, had their pipes burst and home flooded with water. Here is my story.

Since I'm using the hotel's Wi-Fi, I try to limit how long I'm online. It may be free but I still don't want to do all the things I used to do with my own internet, like watch porn. That's why you haven't gotten any Low Viewed Boobs posts in two weeks. That's also why I haven't done the top ten year in review list either. So in the meantime, I've been watching more TV than usual.

I generally don't go gaga over sitcoms like other people. I get why people loved hit shows like The Walking Dead, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and The Mandalorian but I'm not gonna go out my way to watch them. My TV is usually on for football and Fox's Animation Domination. Other than that, I'm on the computer or playing video games. But since I'm living out of a hotel, my TV habits have changed. I'm still not watching those shows but I have been watching more ESPN lately and man, I see why they're hemorrhaging viewers. There is SO MUCH TALKING about pointless shit that gets regurgitated on the next talking head show.

Like, they could save more money by cutting half of these talking heads and it won't make much of a difference. Hell, cancel most of these talking head shows to save even more money and you won't see many people gripe about it. I get they made a killing with the Embrace Debate Era of Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless but do people really give a shit about the opinions of these other talking heads outside the shows those two appear on? Not so much.

I would like a channel that showed sports 24/7 with no talking heads. Live, repeat, tape delay or condensed, it will show only sports all day every day. Or how about bringing back Universal Sports where they only showed Olympic sports. Hell, ESPN or some other network really missed the chance of creating HBCUN during Black History Month where it airs live games from the Black colleges across the country. Dammit, I should've became a network executive! :(

Stay tuned tomorrow for Day 10: New Neighbors in The Busted Pipe Chronicles.
