Employees had to deal with so much bullshit these past two years from their employers, customers, media and governmental agencies. In a perfect world, we would be our own bosses and decide when, where and how long we want to work. Of course, that wouldn't work well because you need people to do important jobs like picking up trash, growing produce and fixing roads. So instead, we have this "holiday" where we pretend to show appreciation to the workforce in this country while refusing to raise the minimal wage and allow them to be fired over anything.
